efbX is fully compatible with Prepar3D, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (MSFS2020), and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS2024). Compatibility with X-Plane may be introduced in the future, but it is not currently supported.

While efbX can be used without a direct connection to your simulator, certain features such as displaying aircraft, specific information or controlling fuel and payload, will not be available unless connected.

Installing and running efbX is completely free of charge. We also provide a selection of free "starter" apps to get you started. However, some apps available in the efbX App Store may come with a cost or require in-app purchases.

Since many apps in the App Store are developed by third parties, we cannot predict their pricing. The amount you choose to spend on additional apps will depend entirely on your preferences and needs.

Absolutely not! The beauty of efbX is its flexibility. You can treat it as your own personal tablet, installing the apps you want, arranging them in the order you prefer, and setting them up in a way that works best for you. There's no need to juggle multiple browser tabs anymore—everything is conveniently organised in one place.

If you own a smart device, you’re likely already familiar with the concept of an app store. The efbX app store works in much the same way, but the apps are specifically designed for flight simulation. Some apps even interface directly with your simulator. The app store is continually evolving, with apps created by both efbX and the wider flight simulation community.

Not at all! efbX is a web-based app, meaning it can run on any device with a browser. For iOS users, full-screen mode is supported, allowing you to save it to your home screen where it functions just like a native iOS app. Help and support for setting this up will be available around launch time to ensure you can enable this feature easily.

efbX is a feature-rich platform designed to elevate your virtual flying experience. It integrates seamlessly with the three main desktop flight simulators and can be adapted for use with fixed-base or full-motion simulators. Similar to how real-world pilots rely on their EFBs, efbX is an essential tool for virtual pilots, offering all the information you need to navigate the skies at your fingertips.

Additionally, the efbX app store allows you to search for and download apps tailored to your needs. With new apps added daily by both efbX and the community, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, it might appear soon—or you can request it to be developed!

Currently, efbX does not offer chart features due to licensing constraints with major providers. However, this may change in the future based on user interest. Post-launch, we will assess efbX's usage, and if there is sufficient demand to justify the investment in becoming a chart supplier, we will add this.

• SDK Availability: The SDK is not yet available but will be released in due course.
• Development Environment: The efbX platform is developed in a local web environment, so your apps must also run in a web environment.
• Features and Tools: The SDK will include a library to enable features like sending push notifications or creating efbX OS-branded popups within your app.
• Hosting Options: Your app can be stored either locally or online. If stored online, hosting and maintenance will be your responsibility. efbX will not be liable for web outages or any issues related to third-party content.
• Monetisation: You will have the option to charge for your apps. However, efbX will take a small percentage of any revenue generated.
